Installation directory
From Jade
(Redirected from Install directory)
An Installation Directory is a directory in which a program and all its dependencies get copied to. During an installation this path is used to register file types with a particular program, create shortcuts to a particular program, and enable advanced features for a particular program. An Installation Directory may be refereed to as a Program Directory, in a directory in which the main executable for a particular program exists.
In the case with Jade the default installation directory for a typical windows environment would "c:/program files/jade." See the List of Files in the Program Directory for a list files that comes with a default installation of Jade.
