[edit] Welcome to the Jade Documentation
Jade is an open source multidocument editor designed to be cross browser compliant and easy to use. Jade is also intended to provide the ability for its features to grow in user created, plug-ins. These plug-ins would enable support for multiple file types, and extend Jade's current functionality. Its everything you would imagine from a simple and robust open source project.
While Jade is still in development, and not yet final or in beta, we are starting to write the documentation for Jade developers and Jade users. We hope you find useful information and we look forward to your contributions.

[edit] Jade for Commercial Use
To incorporate Jade within your commercial product their are several things EGT needs to know before we can consider allowing you to develop Jade commercially. Before you Publish or Release your code that includes Jade source content for commercial purposes (charge a fee for use or as part of a solution) you will require an EGT Open Source License (EGT OSL). An OSL with authorize you to use Jade and its components for commercial use, only when you have contributed enough code and have paid the yearly license fees.
For more information visit the EGT Open Source License about page in this wiki. Remember Jade is open source so getting a EGT OSL will help your commercial project support this open source project. Any fees that you are charged 85%-90% will be contributed, the rest will go to EGT to help them support Jade.
WITH OUT A EGT Open Source License, you will not be permitted as according to the Creative Commons Agreement. Only when you get a EGT OSL will the Project Founder and Admins give you the rights for this project.
[edit] Jade and EGT
EGT, Entertainment for a Greater Tomorrow, created Jade as an open source project to solve internal problem. EGT also helps in the active development and hosting of this project. For more information Ask an Admin.
