Over a year ago the LORD put the idea for StandUpAndPray.com on my heart and originally I didn’t do much with it. However, on a day the domain was about to expire the LORD renewed the vision and an urgency to complete this work.

Today, StandUpAndPray.com has been released to the public as just a center to post prayer requests and help cover one another in prayer. Officially the product has never been “press released” and is not, yet, widely used. The product or Facebook application kind of merged to active public release a few weeks after the private beta. Now, I am not going to lie to you: Stand Up And Pray is a brand new – just coded – web service that has not been on the internet no more than 7 weeks. The official public beta release was Saturday April 7^th at 2:00 in the morning. Since then Stand Up Pray has only been used to allow Facebook friends to know of a need.

Stand Up And Pray posts new prayer requests right on your Facebook Timeline. It allows your subscribers to see the request and pray for you instantly. Kind of like having an instant billboard for spiritual needs. Anyone, from any country around the world can post a prayer request if they have a Facebook account.

Internationally, Stand Up And Pray has helped a Pakistani woman to cover her fellow brothers and sisters in Christ through prayer and help bring out a pivotal reminder of the Christian Walk: It is not easy to be a Christian and walk upright, and on the other side of the world – it may be illegal to worship Jesus Christ openly. Through Stand Up and Pray.com, I become aware of an outcry for help. The youth of her church’s congregation got arrested and thrown in prison, most likely because of their faith in Jesus. We don’t know how hard Christians in the middle-eastern world have it.

It’s not like America where we just suffer the mental abuse of choosing a Godly-centered lifestyle but in other parts of the world men and woman lose their life for the sake of their faith in Christ Jesus. Reminding me of a verse that speaks encouragement to victims of martyrdom found in Matt. 10:39. “He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” (ASV) Those that sacrifice their life because they refuse to let the enemy crush their faith, will receive a full life and reward in heaven.

Just thinking of the men and woman being imprisoned in this world for having faith made my heart hit the floor. I became so righteously indignant: I got everyone I know to pray for this request. I had prayer warriors praying that never used facebook, bring this matter before the LORD. We prayed and agreed together for this situation in Pakistan to be reversed until I had the peace of GOD as a result of our prayers. Days later, I got a response from the Pakistani woman on Facebook all she did was just thank me for my prayers. She didn’t say anything specific, but I know GOD did something. It’s impossible for God not to move on our behalf, we just had to many men and woman praying for the members of her church.

If your faithful in prayer and do not doubt the power of the living God, he is faithful to answer your request. The burden of Christians around the world is heavy and many don’t have another brother or sister in Christ to agree with them in prayer. They feel alone in their struggle but with this application you learn that you are not on your own and GOD is always with you and so our countless believers in Christ Jesus.

This is why tomorrow morning, StandUpAndPray.com will be more than just a place for prayer requests but it will also be a place where men and woman can post encouraging messages right on their Facebook feed. Men and woman who went through the something’s you went through can give your encouragement to grow your faith and uplift your soul.

Just like that Pastor from Pakistan needed a servant of God to have faith and uplift this petition before GOD. Many Christians can now encourage other Christians from around the world with a click of the mouse. You have the power and the authority, by faith through Christ Jesus, to take on the devil’s schemes and crush the enemy’s tactics. No Christian needs to be alone in this fight, let other Christians pray for you so that the windows of heaven will open dispatching angels to see you through the end of your miracle.

I suppose if you’re asking for some big move of God and trusting the LORD to change this world through you as is my heart’s desire than prayer is a great place to start. You have a brothers and sisters in Christ praying for you and waiting on the LORD for your miracle. Let us Stand Up and Pray for you!

Right now if you were to flip across the news stations your heart would sink deeper into a depression because it appears as if there is no hope – no reason for living. Each country seems to be attacked with more and more devastation both economical and ecological. I don’t remember hearing about a storm that’s killed 1.3 million people in any history book, did you?

Do you know why stocks are at an all-time low? Do you know why depression is at an all-time high? Do you know why the world, itself, is screaming for something better? I do.

In the future I’ve dreamed, man is not after their own desires but instead man is united in seeking after the LORD of their creation. Ok, now I lost you but it’s true. You see, the world’s counting down to its last day. Ask scientist all across the world and they will tell you that in some major event we could be destroyed and that’s that. Earth will be no more, and neither will the human existence go on. However those in the future realized it. They realized that earth is scheduled for cosmic destruction and that the only way to ensure that each man and woman gets a chance to live on past the destruction of the sun or other cosmic event is to ensure that each man’s and woman’s eternity is their choice.

Now have I caught your attention, just a little bit? You see, in the future I see and even hope to have a big part in engineering: each man is given a choice. Each man, woman, and child is given the choice: to live for what is right or choose against wisdom and go about their own way. It’s that choice that gives us the freedom to move past the selfish tendencies that we can so easily fall into and build a greater tomorrow.

Instead of worrying about the bondage that this world easily falls prey to, we become free. A freedom given to us centuries ago that was the human race neglected to carry with us into this new millennium. A freedom that allows
